I created all the images on this page as a part of a fifteen-week masterclass in AI for Design that I designed and taught at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. The course had a binary focus: the development of high-quality brands serving the distilled liquor and wine industries – but more importantly to help students gain a deeper understanding of how AI is quickly becoming the lingua franca of the design industry and how to speak it with greater fluency.

Client: Blue Horizon, Switzerland // Agency: Mason LBB, France
Blue Horizon came to Maison with a simple ask. To reimagine their website. They sought a fresh look that uplifted but didn’t completely redesign their brand. As the next-generation impact investor leading the world to a sustainable food system, Blue Horizon wanted not only a completely reimagined user experience, they also wanted to set themselves apart from the category norms. Starting with a narrative project in collaboration with the entire C-suite and third-party vendors, Maison helped lead Blue Horizon to a visionary new narrative that would become the backbone of the website. From there, we explored brand design that complemented and enhanced the existing look. Lastly, we broke the site architecture down and built a new structure from the ground up, streamlining the site experience, which had accumulated years of content undergrowth. Today, Blue Horizon is able to tell its story, attracting investment and interest from across the alternative protein space, with clarity and impact. We continue to partner closely with Blue Horizon in support of their mission to bring transformative change to our food system.
This was a personal project to challenge myself to illustrate the Seven Deadly Sins in a style completely new for myself. This concept is also of “merit badges” – a tradition in the Boy Scouts of America for rewarding ethical behaviors with embroidered patches meant to be sewn onto their uniforms.
Zelner is a Zurich, Switzerland based conglomerate that operates in over a dozen industries across Africa, ranging from construction, to electricity & water, education, and agriculture – with each of those business units operating a different brand. Zelner asked us to explore a single unifying brand under its corporate name. I developed the tagline (and quasi positioning statement) “For the love of Africa” as a way to signal Zelner’s total commitment to the continent, its people and its expected position as a global hub in coming years.
Client: Kornit Digital, Tel Aviv / Agency: Mason LLC, France
MakeBetter is a new sub-brand from the Tel Aviv based on-demand printing giant, Kornit. The Israeli company had tremendous success creating on-demand printed fabrics to the textiles and fashion industries, but saw an enormous opportunity to begin selling to the massively expanding marketplace of individual makers as well as people with personal brands who wanted to create and sell wearable merchandise to their fans and followers.
